Beside forestry and agriculture, tourism has increasingly become a source of income. This is not surprising as the unspoilt nature is prominent all around. All routes for walking, cycling and horse riding begin and end in the village. At the end of the road, to the left, begins a preserve with an abundance of deer, roes, foxes, wild boars, birds and hares. Even the brown bear is regularly sighted there.
Large investments are made in tourism. Numerous mundane ski runs are being developed. And of course, medicinal spas spontaneously surface here and there. Some of which are transformed into luxurious resorts.
Just imagine: in the middle of winter, at a temperature of – 25 degrees centigrade, to be swimming in medicinal water of + 39 degrees centigrade!
